Hardware, Software, and Everything in Between!

About Us

We are the University of Alberta Computer Engineering Club! We are a student organization that represents the interest of Computer Engineers to other student organizations (such as ESS) as well as the Faculty of Engineering. We also host many events for the benefits of other students such as hackathons, career development sessions, board game nights, and more!

Our group is a fantastic way to network with other engineering students and to hang out with some terrific and terrifying people. We have many executives and contributing members across different years in our group.

Have any questions about our club? Visit our FAQ page.

Our Events

HackED Beta

HackED Beta

HackED Beta is a 24 hour competition where students complete either a software and/or hardware project. Participants exercise their creativity by finding solutions for problems they want to work towards. This event is designed for beginner hackers!

We provide three meals and a ton of snacks to power them through their hack. Tons of new prizes will be given out, be it for winning the hackathon, winning an API prize, or winning a round of lightning trivia.
