    CAPS: Computing Science Career Forum

CAPS is hosting a Computing Science Career Forum tonight. Free pizza and pop will be provided, although registration is required.

Companies/Organizations in attendance will each have a panel member to answer questions about their career experiences in the field.

There will be panelists from:

  • Science Internship Program

Pancake Breakfast Sale
Wednesday October 7th, 2015 @ 9am-2pm, ETLC Atrium

The Computer Engineering club will be selling Pancakes all day on October 7th. Start your day with a great breakfast then come back for lunch!

You will be supporting the club and helping us put on all our great events.
University of Southern California Graduate Studies Info Session

University of Southern California Viterbi School of Engineering will be hosting a graduate engineering information session in Edmonton on October 1, 2015. They have received an increased number of applicants from the University of Alberta over the past few years and would appreciate the opportunity to meet other students who may be interested in pursuing graduate studies at USC. Students can meet and learn more about what makes the Viterbi School a top 10 ranked institution by U.S. News & World Report . Application fee waivers will also be provided to attendees of the session.
Students who are eligible are those who are currently majoring in engineering, math or science (such as physics, chemistry, and biology).

WISEST SET Conference
Saturday, November 7th, 2015

The SET (Science, Engineering, and Technology) Conference hosted by WISEST is a fun day that will show grades 10-12 high school girls the diverse career options in science, engineering, and technology. This full-day conference (with lunch included) allows participants to experience real lab environments through hands-on lab activities. This year it will be held on Saturday, November 7th, 2015.

If you are interested in strengthening science and society through diversity, and providing opportunity to our SET students, there are several volunteer opportunities available for the SET Conference.
